Dr. Christopher F. Karpowitz is a Co-Director of the Center for the Study of Elections and Democracy and an Associate Professor of Political Science at Brigham Young University.  With his co-authors, he has received the APSA Paul Lazarsfeld Award for the best paper in Political Communication, the APSA Best Paper Award in Political Psychology, and the Carrie Chapman Catt Prize for Research on Women and Politics (honorable mention). Prior to arriving at BYU, he was a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Democracy and Human Values at Princeton's University Center for Human Values.
